Terms and Conditions for entering Slab Ceramics Studio (Slab Ceramics Traditional Handicraft Works Est.)

Purpose: These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of and participation in Slab Ceramics Studio (“the Studio”) facilities, equipment, and activities.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Studio, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using the Studio.

2. Membership

Some facilities or services might require a membership or additional fees. Membership details will be provided separately.

3. Safety

Users must adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols. Users should not operate equipment without prior proper training or without guidance from our staff.

4. Equipment Use

Equipment should be handled with care. Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately. Personal tools are allowed, but the Studio is not responsible for their safety or condition. Please label them and keep all your tools on your shelf, private studio or take them home. Do not leave them around the studio.

5. Cleanliness

Users are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Clay, tools, and other materials should be stored in members shelves, private studio or at home, but not in any public studio space.

6. Property Rights

The Studio is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items. Users should label and date their works. Unlabelled or expired date items may be discarded. Bisqued pieces will only be kept on the general shelves for 3 months. After 3 months we reserve the right to use the pieces in studio for glaze testing. Prior notification via WhatsApp to the Studio Members Group will be given before such items are discarded or upcycled.

7. Conduct

Users must respect all individuals, regardless of race, gender, religion, age, or ability. Disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour may result in termination of studio access or membership.

8. Photography

No photographs should be taken of any member in the studio (even if in the background) without their knowledge and permission. Posting on social media of other members, must be pre-approved but the individual concerned.

9. Fees and Payments

All fees for services, classes, or materials are due in advance or at the time of purchase.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies for classes, workshops, or events will be provided separately. Refunds, if necessitous, will be processed as per the Studio’s refund policy.
