Slip Casting Workshop
Join us for an immersive Slip Casting Workshop, where you’ll discover the art and techniques of this unique ceramic production method which can be used for creating functional wares, such as cups, vases, and plates, as well as sculptural forms.
During the workshop, you’ll learn the entire slip casting process from start to finish. We will guide you through the preparation of moulds, the mixing and pouring of slip, and the demoulding and finishing of your casted pieces. You’ll gain insight into selecting appropriate moulds, achieving consistent thickness, and troubleshooting common challenges.
